Connecting to the IM7

Before connecting Zahner Lab to the IM7, please ensure the device is powered on and has an active Ethernet (LAN) network connection. Both the computer running Zahner Lab and the IM7 must be on the same local network, and your firewall settings must allow communication between them.

For creating custom experiments, use the Custom Experiment Builder. You can implement complex experimental logic-including conditional statements, loops, and variable manipulation-using intuitive visual blocks. This makes advanced experimental design accessible to users of all skill levels.

You can also control measurement devices without the Zahner Lab using various APIs. This allows you to automate experiments or integrate them into your own software or test bench. We provide various examples, especially for Python.
