Linear Sweep Galvanostatic

In linear sweep galvanostatic measurements (also known as chronopotentiometry under ramping conditions), a current scan is performed between the start and end currents. The potential and current are measured over time at a defined sampling rate.

The ramp function is defined by specifying the start and stop values (Istart, Iend) and a third parameter (tramp or scan rate). The fourth parameter is automatically calculated from the other three parameters.

The galvanostatic linear ramp can be terminated early if a defined potential limit Emin/Emax is exceeded.

Measurement Result

The voltage and current curves are recorded as a function of time. Additional measurement signals are also recorded when activated.
