Chronopotentiometry

Chronopotentiometry applies a constant current through the device under test (DUT). During this galvanostatic polarization, the potential is measured over time at a defined sampling rate. A maximum measurement time (tmax) is defined for the chronopotentiometry to ensure the measurement is deterministic.

After a holding time (thold), the chronopotentiometry can be terminated early when a defined voltage stability state is reached or a voltage limit Emin/Emax is exceeded.

A Start Phase Galvanostatic can be enabled or disabled before the method is executed.

Measurement Result

The voltage and current curves are recorded as a function of time. Additional measurement signals are also recorded when activated.
