Potentiostats

The Potentiostats tab lets you choose which potentiostat to use for your experiments and configure its operating parameters.

The potentiostat list shows all detected devices with their identifier, serial number, and connection URL. To set a potentiostat as the default, check the box in the Default column or select the row and click the star button.

These settings apply to the selectable experiments and are independent of the potentiostat configuration in test sampling.

Caution

While current ranges can also be configured here, this is typically unnecessary and should be handled within the individual measurement methods instead.

If an external potentiostat was powered on after the IM7, click the Re/Detect Potentiostats button at the bottom left to scan for it again. Before re-detecting, make sure all potentiostats are powered off first. Never unplug or plug in the EPC cable while either device is powered on - always power off all devices before changing cable connections.
