Polarization

../../../_images/poga.png

Standard polarization measurement block for constant potential or current conditions.

The DC value is always specified as the bias, along with the maximum runtime and sampling rate.

The runtime cannot be shorter than 0.5 seconds. This limit should be regarded as an absolute lower bound rather than a working point, because the shorter the polarization is, the more the dead time between two primitives influences the result. For shorter processes, use the Wave primitive instead, as explained in Primitives vs Wave.

When the autoranging checkbox is selected, the maximum absolute current is ignored and the shunt is automatically selected based on the measured current. When autoranging is disabled, the current range must be specified using the maximum absolute value of the expected current.
